This one day examination consists of both practical and theoretical aspects to best assess each candidate before awarding the the primary level of MDT Certification - Cred. MDT.

Prerequisites

  • Completion of Parts A, B, C and D
  • Licensed or Registered Clinician

With the increase in requests for Credentialled McKenzie clinicians, taking and passing the exam is strongly recommended. The exam consists of multi-level testing designed to assess the clinical knowledge and skills in MDT of the clinician.

To be eligible to sit this examination, you must have previously completed and passed Parts A-D of the McKenzie Institute education programme.

Cancellation Policy:

Written cancellations will be accepted up to three weeks prior to course commencement date. Refunds (less a £50 administration fee) will be given, or participants may transfer registration for up to one year. No refunds will be given for cancellations received within three weeks prior to the Course commencement date.

The McKenzie Institute UK will not be responsible for any costs incurred if minimum registration numbers are not reached and the course is cancelled, therefore please confirm with the UK Branch Manager that the course is proceeding prior to purchasing non-refundable air tickets. In the instance the course is cancelled full refunds will be given, or registrations may be transferred to another course.

Jenny Ross is a senior International faculty member of the McKenzie Institute, teaching Part A to D courses and examining therapists in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy within the UK and internationally visiting many countries worldwide. She joined the teaching faculty after completing the Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in Robin McKenzie’s clinics in New Zealand.

Jenny works clinically in her own private practice which is an accredited Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy Clinic, and academically for Dundee University .She is Academic lead for the MSc in Health Studies at Dundee University, developing and leading Masters level modules for Physiotherapists and other AHP’s ,which includes the theoretical element of the Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.
